To ensure the highest quality print work available it is important that you carefully review our PDF standards listed below.
All finished PDF files must be PDF 1.4 (Version 5).
Artwork should use US Web Coated (SWOP) v2 colorspace.
All images contained in the PDF must be CMYK.
Color images must be 300dpi to 360 dpi.
Monochrome images (black and white only, no gray) must be 800dpi to 1200dpi.
All bitmap images must be saved as .tiff files. Only Hi res JPEG images are OK.
These image formats are unacceptable are .gif, .png, .bmp
Must have indicia and return address.
Absolutely no crop or registration marks.
Without bleeds. Document should match size of finished project (4x6 = 4x6).
With bleeds. Document must have 1/8th inch bleed margin (4x6 = 4.25x6.25).
To avoid font problems all fonts should be outlined.
Solid black colors must be done in rich black (100% black, 50% Cyan, 40% Magenta, 30% Yellow).
Multiple page files need to be in one PDF as individual pages.
8.5x11 booklets (finished size) need to have each individual page (8.5x11) laid out in one file.
